Objective

Hyphen Art House, a multidisciplinary arts studio and conservatory, needed a bold and versatile brand identity to support its programming, events, merchandise, and marketing initiatives. The goal was to create a system that captured the spirit of creative movement while remaining clean, modern, and flexible across digital and physical applications.


Strategy

  • Create a timeless, architectural logo mark that could serve as both symbol and storytelling device.

  • Build a brand system that would translate across signage, apparel, digital campaigns, and print collateral.

  • Emphasize structure, rhythm, and creative energy in typography and layout.

  • Develop scalable assets for long-term brand growth and expansion.


Role and Responsibilities

  • Designed the core logo and visual mark, inspired by architectural forms and artistic balance.

  • Led development of brand applications across signage, apparel (tote bags), business cards, and advertising.

  • Art directed and produced campaign graphics, including street banners and billboards.

  • Ensured consistency across formats, preparing final assets for both digital and print production.


Creative Highlights

  • Logo design blends geometric balance with an arched frame, creating a symbol that feels both modern and timeless.

  • Custom branding extended into street-level banners, dancer recruitment campaigns, and merchandise.

  • Bold black-and-white brand palette supported by confident typography and selective use of accent colors.

  • Design language reflects the studio’s blend of discipline, motion, and expressive freedom.
